Is this Service Legitimate?
Yes, there is plenty of evidence out on the web verifying this company and their claims. I can also attest to their validity after actually holding a free iPod from them.

How can they make any money from this?
According to an article about this in wired news, they make anywhere from $25-90 per offer completion. It is very easy to see how they could pull in enough cash with those figures.

Is it really free?
You will never be charged by Gratis Internet for anything. You may or may not be charged for the offer you sign up for, depending on which one you choose. Click here to see the differences between them.

Is it hard to get referrals?
Not at all. Most of my friends and I completed our referral requirements for the iPod within a month. As you are aware, people are skeptical about anything free so that will be your biggest hurdle. Hopefully my site and other resources on the web will relieve such fears.

How long does it take?
After you meet all of your referral requirements, they will make sure that each is legitimate. This takes up to 3 days (they approved mine in 1 day). After that, they will send out your free item within 1-2 weeks depending on availability.

Why haven't I received credit for completing my offer yet?
Each offer comes with different requirements for completion. Some range from 1-2 days (such as AOL, Netscape, and Infone), while others can take 1-2 weeks (such as credit card offers). PLEASE NOTE that this time period only includes business days. You will not receive credit over the weekend.

How do I know when my referrals have completed an offer?
Log in to your account and click on "Check Status." The people that have completed an offer will have a green check next to their name.

Can I sign up for free desktop pc/flatscreens/ipods using the same email address?
Yes. The same is true for your physical address.

Can I sign up under myself in order to get my referrals ?
No. They will verify each of your referrals to ensure that each one is legitimate. If they suspect fraudulent referrals, your account may be placed "on hold."

After signing up with free desktop pc/flatscreen/ipod do I need to use the same address to complete my offer?
Yes. It makes the verification process go much smoother for you.

Can I sign up if i live outside the United States?
No. You must be within the US.

I completed an offer, but my referrals can't use the same offer. What's going on?
Offers you complete are not available to your referrals. This is by design to prevent people from abusing one easy offer. Fortunately there are more than one (AOL, Netscape, Infone).

Will the email account I sign up with get spammed?
Gratis Internet makes their money from advertising. It makes sense for them to do this. Do not be offended if the account you use gets spam. I would recommend creating a new account at yahoo to sign up for things such as this, if you don't already have one.

Rumor has it that hotmail accounts cannot be verified. Is this true?
At the moment, yes. Please do not use hotmail to verify your account for the time being. Yahoo accounts are still free and do work.

Can my family members sign up using the same home address?
No. You can have only one account per household.

Does Gratis Internet track by IP?
Yes. This is a big concern for companies that are sitting behind a firewall since Gratis will see these accounts as coming from the same IP. Tell your co-workers to sign up at home.

What does "Joined, but offer not completed. User did not join via referral link." mean?
It most likely means that you sent an email to someone using the "Refer Friends" page, and that user signed up but didn't use your link to do so. Either they signed up without a referrer, or they signed up under someone else.

What is a conga line?
A conga line is a list of users that have signed up under the top person in the list. After the top person in the list has completed their requirements, it then moves down to the next person on the list. New additions to the list always must sign up under the top person. Is there a live chat for these products?

There is plenty of evidence to the contrary out there. Dig around a little. You are not out anything by signing up and completing a offer. It's free, and only takes a few minutes of your time.
